The weather in Kandy, Sri Lanka, has remained a talking point ahead of the high-octane encounter between Pakistan and India in the upcoming Asia Cup 2023.

The Sri Lankan Met Office had previously predicted that there would be enough rain at the Pallekele stadium by mid-afternoon. Kandy’s humidity will be at 89 percent, with rain chances decreasing to 60 percent in the afternoon.
Around the toss, the weather in Kandy is expected to be around 26 degrees Celsius, with cricket fans hoping that showers will hold off until the evening without interfering with the play between the two sides.
As both squads prepare to face off, the Men in Blue have the upper hand against the Green Shirts with seven wins in 13 Asia Cup (ODI) games, while Pakistan has five wins with one match ending in a draw.
