In an interview with Brazilian news outlet G1, Delegate Gustavo Barcellos stated that the investigation would begin once the autopsy results were received.

Borges may have consumed alcohol and “narcotic substances” before her death, according to Barcellos.
Barcellos summed up, “There is a report suggesting the potential consumption of narcotic substances, coupled with alcohol intake.” He explained that the body was undergoing a necropsy, with laboratory tests aimed at identifying any substances she might have taken. Authorities have already interviewed her boyfriend, who was with her.
Just a week prior to her demise, Borges had shared a photo of herself skiing in Gramado, captioned, “I can believe in tomorrow.”
