The ‘La Rose Noire Droptail’ car from Rolls-Royce has become the most expensive car in the world. The two-door, two-seater car is inspired by the high-speed luxury boats of the 1930s.
Although the company has not disclosed its exact price, it is expected to be more than US $30 million, or nearly Rs9 billion in Pakistani currency.
The company will only produce four units of this car, with each unit being customized to the buyer’s specifications.
This vehicle has been in production for five years, and its 6.7 litre v12 engine produces 593 horsepower.
This car’s exterior is red and black, and its interior is decorated with rose petals. The names of the first buyers of this car have not been revealed by the company, but they are said to be an extremely wealthy couple.
La Rose Noire Droptail car was unveiled at the Monterey Car Week in California, and the company stated that it was designed with the buyer’s needs in mind.
This car can accelerate from 0 to 62 kilometres per hour in five seconds and has a top speed of 155 kilometres per hour.
Previously, the same automaker’s Boat Tail car was the most expensive car in the world when it was released in May 2021. It cost more than US $28 million at the time.
Rolls-Royce Limited was a British luxury car and later an aero-engine manufacturing company founded in 1904 in Manchester by Charles Rolls and Henry Royce.
Building on Royce’s good reputation for cranes, they quickly established a reputation for superior engineering by producing the “best car in the world.”
