Renowned for her eloquent use of Urdu and her deep expertise in Urdu literary chronicles, she holds the distinguished position of Professor of History at Forman Christian University, Lahore.
Having held positions as an educator and principal at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), Zehra’s influence has extended to prestigious institutions such as the Lahore College of Management Sciences and the College of Arts. Nation.
Her teaching prowess is even enjoyed in the halls of the Government of Pakistan School of Public Policy, where she currently holds a visiting faculty position.

Education
Arfa Sayeda Zehra graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Lahore College for Women. She obtained her Master of Arts degree in Urdu from Government College, Lahore. She earned a Master of Arts in Asian Studies and a Ph.D. in History from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Zehra is the winner of the 2016 University of Hawaii Distinguished Alumni Award.
Personal Life
Zehra is a development, fundamental human rights and gender equality organization, although it says it has never been a full member of an NGO, choosing instead to work through education.
She is the Chairperson of the National Commission on the Status of Women and the Moderator on Women’s Human Rights.
