Indian couple sells eight-month-old baby for iPhone 14. A couple in the Indian state of West Bengal went to great lengths to get an iPhone 14, selling their eight-month-old baby to buy it.
According to Indian media sources, the couple from the North 24 Parganas area sold their child to purchase mobile phones in order to create Instagram reels.
The event was brought to light after neighbors noted that the toddler had gone missing while his parents did nothing.
As a result, the neighbors filed a complaint with the police, who investigated the situation. When the authorities interviewed the couple, the mother said that they sold the baby to buy the iPhone 14 so that they could create reels on Instagram to promote their travels across West Bengal.

As an Indian couple sells an eight-month-old baby for iPhone 14, the police have filed a case against both of them and charged the lady who purchased the baby with human trafficking.
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are smartphones designed, developed, and marketed by Apple Inc.
They are the sixteenth and latest generation of iPhones, succeeding the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini, and were announced during Apple Event, Apple Park in Cupertino, California, on September 7, 2022, alongside the higher-priced iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max flagships.
