Africa: Around 25,000 of people disappeared
Africa is going through severe not only economic but social crises. As the news of skyrocketing inflation are covering the front pages all around the globe, another shocking report by international committee of the Red Cross states that around 64,000 people are missing in the territory of Africa. This figure includes 25,000 minors.This figure is the 64% of the total missing population in the continent.
The report which came on Tuesday refers to the African conflicts that have been a part of its history pages for decades. It further stated that there are 35 active armed conflicts which have slowly been eating up Africa alive.
The ever existence of resulted causalities of these armed have Africa lose thousands of its inhabitants including children, many crossing borders of the Mediterranean Sea & Sahara Desert for a secure future.
Over time, the cases have increased severely & the report have stated that such movements carry huge repercussions. The most obvious is seen through disappearances & it is likely to increase in the coming future. It is so because the risk is much higher & the people have to bear it.
ICRC report says that the 25,000 missing cases are just the tip of the iceberg & many go unheard, unnoticed. Many children’s fates remain unknown which is just unfortunate.
The result of such disappearances likely to have children at the end of severe exploitation, trauma, mental stress & sheer violence.

The report also stated that there are around 5,200 children disappearance cases who have no family acquaintances & connection.
