The Higher Education Commission (HEC) on Saturday announced scholarships for promising students who want to study abroad in Saudi Arabia, which is good news for Pakistani students.
HEC encouraged Pakistani students to apply for the Saudi government scholarships by promoting them on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The scholarships are being offered for programmes leading to bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, and other degrees in Saudi Arabia.
The Kingdom also provides a self-finance option in addition to full and partial scholarships.
80% of the Saudi government’s scholarships are for bachelor’s degrees, while 12% are for master’s and doctoral degrees.

The remaining 8% of scholarships will be given to students with diplomas and higher diplomas.
Students interested in applying for scholarships should go to the official Saudi government website: studyinsaudi.moe.gov.sa.
It is important to note that HEC is only promoting the scholarship and that candidates should contact the relevant Saudi university for more information.
“All questions must be directed to the relevant Saudi university.” “HEC is only publicising this scholarship programme,” HEC stated.
The Higher Education Commission is a statutory organisation established by the Government of Pakistan in 2002 and chaired by Atta-ur-Rahman. Its primary responsibilities include funding, monitoring, regulating, and accrediting the country’s higher education institutions.
