VC BZU becomes an auto-rickshaw driver before retirement.

Mansoor Akbar Kundi, vice chancellor of Bahauddin Zakariya University, has “become an auto-rickshaw driver” days before retiring to send a message to the public that working at any job is not shameful.

Kundi, a well-known literary figure, can be seen driving an auto-rickshaw on a street in a brief video clip that quickly became popular on social media platforms.

He added that the university does not provide pensions to its employees and that he planned to leave the institution during the current month.

The VC stated that he wanted to send a message to the populace that they should not be afraid or ashamed of operating an auto-rickshaw in light of the country’s deteriorating economic situation.

As VC BZU becomes auto-rickshaw driver before retirement, he served as vice chancellor of two universities, including the Gomal University.

He had also served on the executive board of the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

At the age of 22, Kundi left the Balochistan University in 2015.

Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) is a public university in Multan, Pakistan, with its main campus. Bahauddin Zakariya University, formerly Multan University, was established in 1975 and is Punjab’s second-largest university.

It was renamed in 1979 after the Sufi saint Baha-ud-din Zakariya.

As a degree-granting government university, it offers over 130 majors and minors in fields such as biochemistry, pharmacy, engineering, humanities, business administration, law, art, music, information technology, agriculture, and languages.
