Hidden bathroom camera on American flight triggers FBI investigations. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has launched an investigation into a hidden camera in an American Airlines First Class restroom during a flight.
The camera was discovered on a journey from Charlotte to Boston on Saturday morning, and the Feds have acknowledged that they are looking into a “potential criminal act” onboard American Airlines flight 1441.
No further information regarding the inquiry has been released at this time, although sources suggest that the camera was discovered in the lavatory immediately after a young girl walked inside.
One passenger on the trip told a local TV station that the girl’s mother came sprinting along the aisle and stopped another woman from entering the toilet, warning her that she thought there was a camera in there.

“The mom came up, she stopped the other lady from going into the bathroom. She said ‘Don’t go in there,’” the passenger told reporters.
As Hidden bathroom camera on American flight triggers FBI investigations, the incident drew attention when Massachusetts State Police and the FBI reacted to the report and investigated the Airbus A321 aircraft after it arrived about 10 a.m. on Saturday.
A representative for American Airlines, on the other hand, stated that the airline was taking the complaint “very seriously.”
The carrier’s spokeswoman stated that it was collaborating with law enforcement, but that it couldn’t share any other details because the matter was still under investigation.
“We take this matter very seriously and are fully cooperating with law enforcement in their investigation, as safety and security are our highest priorities,” said the carrier.
