Dr Buriro extends his services in counsel, voluntary consultancy services and various international academic organisations
Dr Ghulam Ali Buriro, Assistant Professor, Institute of English Language and Literature, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, has emerged as the “Pride of Pakistan” in the world academic arena because of his enviable contribution as an international speaker, teacher-trainer, academic advisor and research consultant. Besides presenting as Keynote Speaker at international conferences, Dr Buriro also extended counsel, voluntary consultancy services, and expertise to make and develop various international academic and research organisations. He also offers assistance to the world societies, associations, and academies in hosting and conducting international conferences and evaluating as Member/Convener Board of Judges multiple events featuring the presentation of posters, research papers, and demonstration teaching festivals at a global level. This welcome progress has come obviously in the form of the fact that Dr Buriro has been successful in grabbing ” Three Pride of World Class Excellence Awards 2021″ at a stretch: i) Iconic Teacher of the Year Award ii) Iconic Educational Consultant Award, and iii) Iconic Research Consultant Award.
The above awards were announced in September 2021 by the International Society of Teachers, Administrators, and Researchers, Inc. (ISTAR) Global Thailand to reward the best teachers, speakers, researchers, research consultants and academic advisors for the year 2021, as it invited contestants nominations for the ” 1st Pride of World-Class Excellence Awards” in 7 categories. This Award System aimed to honour teachers for their exceptional commitment to service and unparalleled demonstration of dedication and love for the profession, institutions, students and the cause of dissemination of education despite the insurmountable odds erected in the way by Covid-19. And this way to honour, celebrate and award the teachers who have made a significant positive impact on the lives of learners and the communities across continents.
The aspirant candidates were subjected to an intensely rigorous process to compete with the scores of other competitors to qualify for the coveted prizes, involving the mandatory steps of registration, submission of forms along with supportive evidence justifying candidature and competence for the awards, initial scrutiny of application forms for validation of claims, shortlisting, screening, interviewing and final selection by a highly accomplished international panel of experts through the open, fair, transparent, merit-based and punctilious process.
Dr Buriro’s clinching of the given topnotch excellence accolades is widely regarded as a matter of profound pleasure here and overseas for all his compatriots, a cause of immense pride for his beloved homeland Pakistan, his blessed Alma Mater University of Sindh, Jamshoro, his institute, colleagues, students, friends and family.
These awards were virtually conferred upon Dr Buriro in acknowledgement of his expertise, experiences, insights, skills, knowledge, motivation, inspiration and resources that he has been sharing almost and in on-site mode with the audiences from Asia and beyond for the last two or so years. These sharings have been phenomenal and have cast transformational impact on well above 5,000 (Five Thousand) educators from around 51 (Fifty) countries, continentally representing the USA, Europe, South America, Russia, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
The awarding outfit that is “International Society of Teachers, Administrators and Researchers, Inc.(ISTAR Global Thailand)” is a globally-reputed non-profit academic organisation based simultaneously in the Kingdom of Thailand and the Republic of Philippines with over 500 international members, 27 world chapters/centres and quite an impressive track record of organising 73 international conferences/webinars/training workshops/TESOL certificate courses to its credit.
